The HOPELINE is a peer-counseling phone line that will connect Long Covid patients, those who think they may have Long Covid, family members and friends of patients, caregivers of Long Covid patients, as well as healthcare practitioners, with a trained Peer Counselor who is also a Long Covid patient.
The Center for Long Covid Research provides Peer Counselors with in-depth training to enable them to assist callers, in part by making sure that Long Covid patients understand that they are not alone in their struggles.
The HOPELINE is a safe, confidential, space and offers compassion and understanding from people who can relate to your experiences because they themselves have the condition.
Our caring Long Covid Peer Counselors will listen to your concerns and endeavor to help you navigate the many daily challenges Long Covid causes, and aid in finding specialized resources to further assist you.
Call, even if you just want to talk about your day, discuss challenges you are facing, practice relaxation and stress reduction, learn about Long Covid clinic options, anything else that just happens to be on your mind.
